Aeroresponse was established as a South Wales based organisation in March 2002. The company’s co founders identified an opportunity to create the company initially with the support of European based airlines who were seeking specialist organisations to support On-wing Engine Maintenance, particularly in the field of Boroscope Inspection.
The founder members of Aeroresponse gained invaluable experience becoming specialists in Boroscope techniques whilst employed by the General Electric Company’s South Wales based Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organisation, GE Aircraft Engine Services Ltd., themselves supporting Operators and Air Carriers worldwide in all aspects of Engine Maintenance.
It was expertise gained from this previous employment that ensured that Aeroresponse as a company was established with a level of expertise that was second to none and more importantly, recognised as such by Major Operators and Air Carriers.
“Downsizing” at GE, was the catalyst in formulating the company. The void created when GE restructured their operation was the perfect opportunity to create Aeroresponse Ltd., a company permanently on call to support Operators and Air Carriers world-wide.
The formulation of the company was supported and sponsored jointly by the South Wales group of Aerospace Companies and the Welsh Development Agency. Originally located at the Imex premises, Cwm Cynon Business Centre, Mountain Ash, the company has relocated nearby to new premises at Navigation Park, Abercynon, near Pontypridd in South Wales.
Aeroresponse perform work at the Operators/Air Carriers premises on either installed or uninstalled engines. Their team of dedicated specialists, carry out both Boroscope Inspection and in-situ blade repair resulting in improved compressor efficiency thus reducing the necessity for costly engine removals and subsequent aircraft downtime.
Borescope Inspection is a necessity for Operators & Air Carriers to support their Maintenance Programme and in order that Aeroresponse can position itself ahead of the competition, the company has acquired sophisticated Borescope Inspection equipment producing first class electronic images, essential for effective Engine Health Monitoring.
